Open letter to web designers

Dear web designers,
If customers have to call in to your customer service agents every time they try to find information on your site, maybe it's time to give in and add a search box. Better navigation and a site map would be lovely, too, but we won't go crazy or anything here.

Perhaps instead of submitting our payments, we should bury them somewhere and just send your billing department treasure maps they can use to go hunt the money down themselves. Fair trade?
