Sleep-out

My college is a small, liberal arts college in the swank suburbs. To be more exact, its day school is a ridiculously tiny all-girls college.
This is apparently homelessness awareness month. The college sent out an email earlier that there would be a sleep-out on campus tonight for students to show their solidarity with those who sleep outside every night. They would be showing this solidarity eating s'mores and donuts and drinking hot chocolate in the parking lot of an expensive college behind locked gates, of course. But now, because it'll be raining, they've cancelled the sleep-out. So I guess there's solidarity unless your s'mores get soggy.
Pretend it's 10th grade. Leave me a note.
