Yes, indeed, voices carry.

Dressing this morning was an act of improvisation. I have a dearth of summer shoes and dearly hate shoe shopping. So I had a pair of black and white flowered sandals to wear today. Rather limits the choices of clothing, particularly since I'm behind on laundry. Apparently I chose well because I've had several compliments on my outfit and some worries that I was out interviewing.

For the record, I certainly wouldn't interview in sandals, bare legs or my strand of Jamaican beads.
