Last night I decided that I'm going to go for a specialist audition at the studio. They need people who can specialize in elementary ed books. Seems to be right up my alley and they were happy to hear I'm interested in going for it. We're really expanding our member base, so our studio is getting in more and more children's books. Don't know yet what the training/prep will be like or when I'll take the audition, but I'm looking forward to the process.

Tonight I'm going to a play that's a fundraiser for one of my usual charities. It's a preview night of A Prayer for Owen Meany. Can't wait to see how they handle it as a play. I sure hope it turns out better than Simon Birch did.

I'm deep into the Kite Runner. I had to take a break from reading for a little while last night, though, because it was getting hard to read through all the tears. Man, that is one crazy emotional book.
