i "set my bar" by two men in my life. Two rare and amazing beings, really. This seemed a good idea at first.
They were the ones by whom all others were judged and were just never found to measure up. The problem is once you finally realize that even these men themselves can't measure up to the heights to which you'd raised that bar. If it had worked, you wouldn't have needed a bar in the first place. Obviously they're not what you needed. Certainly not what you need. There can be no standard. No bar. No list. No preconceived ideas and ideals. So what now?�
