bounce, bounce, *THUD*

Oy. Well, the bouncies got pretty tempered this morning when I got word that my grandmother was taken away in an ambulance for a breathing problem. Was far too long before we got word as to whether that meant "wasn't breathing" or "was having trouble breathing" or what. ack.
She's at the hospital now and they're of course running a zillion tests. She is breathing, so that's huge. She just can't breathe fully and regularly it sounds like. So it's likely either a reaction to a med they have her on post-surgery or a blood clot in her lung, either of which are distinct possibilities after the recent hip-replacement surgery and recoup she's been doing. So the cell's in my pocket and the unofficial family phone tree's been activated. Sometimes I just hate being hours away.�
