Aha! finally can get in to update. It's been a real blur of a week. Here's some of the gap.

Tuesday night I got to cook for a group of friends. There was pasta and much wine and even more music...two guitarists, some percussion, and a whole lot of singing until the clock told us we really should take pity on the neighbors and quiet down. The kind of night that makes you feel like you must really be doing something right in your life.

Wednesday night Amos Lee, one of my favorite locals (who I predict is on the MOVE up, up, up), had a gorgeous show at a tiny little bar in Philly. So many great musicians packed onto the tiny little stage they could hardly fit. The place was jammed and there was grooving and certainly more beer and whiskey than there should have been. Thank goodness for friends who'll make sure you get home safely and make it worth getting only 3 hours of sleep before work. :)
