my monster

The monster from under my bed pounces on me, pinning me flat. He stands with his front feet weighing down upon my chest, stretching himself alpha-male tall and proud. Then a dark look crosses his eyes and he puts his teeth against my skin. But he never bites down. His claws appear and press marks into me, but he doesn't tear at my skin anymore. I think he just wants to remind me who's really in charge.
