I got waylaid by a staling donut on my way to tastykake butterscotch teatime heaven

so maybe it's true there ain't no sunshine when she's gone, but there's damn well sugar darlin'

and yesterday's poppy seeds are keepin watch on me

explaining there can be no running

and somewhere in a little house halfway down the stairs

there's a termite with my name on it i know it
