Strange as L.A. feels to me, I'm still psyched to be going there in June for a conference. I don't like the schmooziness of conferences, much as I probably need to do some of the dreaded N word (networking *shudder*). But there are really cool classes and I'm now officially a member of a professional association in my field. whoo!
Staying in a fairly swank resort out there. Not a lot of free time to take advantage of any perks, but I'm sure I'll find some fun here and there, even in Barbietown.�
