It's a good thing that the bible doesn't say that Jesus told the disciples, "Eat this sausage; it is my body." While that may have been a somewhat more realistic representation of the body than a little disk of bread, it probably would have resulted in a lot of people getting sick over the years. And nobody ought to have to upchuck a deity.
